Individual Therapy
My style is warm and collaborative, while also being goal-oriented and direct. I am an active participant in therapy and provide feedback, suggestions, and solutions in session. You may choose to seek out individual therapy if you have experienced trauma or are struggling with anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, mood changes, or feeling overwhelmed with stress. I believe that chronic anxiety and depression are often the result of unprocessed trauma, and I combine cognitive behavioral therapy with EMDR and a body-centered, somatic approach to help you feel better. We will look at how your past may be influencing your current behaviors and coping skills, and then design a plan together that will help you reach your goals.
